Dr. Frank Aliganga is a board-certified Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician and founder of Empowered Health DPC LLC in Philadelphia, PA and Medford, New Jersey. His journey into medicine began with a deep commitment to addressing health disparities and improving access to comprehensive care for underserved communities. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Charles R. Drew University in 2013. After completing his Family Medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Southern California (2013-2016), where he received the Jimmy H. Hara, MD Community Medicine Award, Dr. Aliganga pursued a Community Medicine Fellowship to deepen his understanding of population health and develop skills in advocacy. He brings over nine years of diverse clinical experience, having served at Cooper University Healthcare as Clinical Instructor and Core Faculty, Asian Pacific Health Care Venture as a Family Medicine Physician, and as Chief School Physician for Camden City School District.
