I’m an internal medicine and addiction medicine physician. I completed my residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital and an addiction medicine fellowship at Yale, where my work focused on improving continuity of care for people with substance use disorders. Before medical training, I studied neuroscience and psychology at Tulane and conducted research at the National Institute on Aging, exploring how the brain adapts with age and disease. My path into medicine grew from a deep curiosity about how biology, behavior, and environment intersect to shape health. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a commitment to clinical care—I find meaning in helping people regain stability and in building care models that make that possible.Through my work, I aim to bridge research and practice, applying evidence in a way that feels practical and personal. Whether I’m developing new strategies to initiate treatment for opioid use disorder or seeing patients in my own practice, I’m guided by the same principles: listen closely, act with empathy, and make the system work better for the people it serves.
